FAO is organizing a training seminar on trade facilitation, where the key topics of practical meaning for the representatives of FAO countries in the named region will be presented by the experts, such as

Border control and customs procedures, international regulatory documents for export and import of agriproducts (SPS OIE, Codex, IPPC, UN CEFACT), e-certification.

The participants will have a unique opportunity to visit grain terminals of Odessa sea port to see its operation.

Visit to the "Agro-Sphere" exposition will also be a learning opportunity and a round of professional contacts and discussions.
During the seminar the participants will be provided with the detailed explanation of the TFA disciplines and recommendations which will form new competence as to legal framework of the TFA and Members' commitments in the area of trade facilitation. Capacity in trade facilitation policy formulation and implementation of the relevant ministries will increase. New knowledge will be received by the representatives of business associations, experts and academia.
For whom?
The seminar is intended for representatives of ministries of agriculture, economy and trade, other public authorities from the WTO Members from the Central Asia, Caucasus, Moldova and Ukraine. Representatives of business associations of agricultural producers, academia and experts in agriculture trade from these regions will also benefit from participation in the workshop.
